Show Us Your ‘Golden Hour’ Photos

To celebrate the return of Christopher Wheeldon’s Within the Golden Hour to our stage (Mar 1—9), we’re taking our cue from this ballet’s title and asking you to show us your photographic skills on Instagram!

The “golden hour” (sometimes known as the “magic hour”) is the first and last hour of sunlight during the day, when the quality of the light creates a soft, golden effect that results in spellbinding photography. Now, we want to see your golden hour photographs.

Want to be a part of our photo challenge?  Just upload your shots to Instagram, making sure to mention @sfballet and the hashtag #withinthegoldenhour in your caption.

We’ll be showcasing our favorite shots until the end of Within the Golden Hours run as part of Program 4 of our 2013 Season (Mar 1—9) on our social media channels. (Remember: we’ll be even more impressed if your shot features dance in some way…)
