Cooking with Joanne Weir!

Cooking is a lot like dancing, both are creative, passionate pursuits in which there is always something new to learn.  However, as a dancer, confidence on the stage does not necessarily translate to confidence in the kitchen. With Joanne’s help, I’m now excited to prepare my new specialty – Spicy Spanish Lamb Stew!  In fact, over the holidays, I made it for my beautiful wife and a few close friends, and there were no leftovers. While our puppy was disappointed … for me, there is no greater compliment!

Joan, Now that you’re becoming an old hand in the kitchen you should try a cooking class at one of the Il Fornaio restaurants!!

These are two of my passions, cooking and dancing! I love them both.

Your episode on Weir’s show is a pleasure to watch. To those of us who are cooking show foodies, your hands at the mortar revealed you are in fact some sort of artist.

Googling your name produced a pleasant surprise, and it will be a pleasure to look for your first calling on a stage when I’m able to attend some day.

Thanks for the shared pleasure of learning.

Juan is most pleasing, handsome, talented, and gracious. We all hope to see more of him.

go, Joan ! i’m holding my breath every time I watch you leap & land, remembering all the hard work you put into returning to the stage…3 times ! what fond memories I have of assisting you to accomplish that.
And now, your leaps around the kitchen, too. best of fortune with that new passion.

I’ll always come see you perform, as long as we both can make it. i’m down to Senior Rush fix, or standing (again). Joan Procter, PT
